His journey into the world of glass art began with his education at Clark College in Vancouver, WA, and continued at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. He further honed his skills and knowledge by earning a Master of Science in Glass from Illinois State University in Normal, IL, where he studied under the mentorship of Joel Phillip Meyers.
